Getting a clean scan
Lay the receipt flat in good light and fit the whole thing in frame. If anything comes through wrong, tap the item to fix its name, price, or quantity before you finalize.
Splitting a shared item
Open the item and assign everyone who shared it. Use Portions to split by pieces or percent when people had different amounts.
Adding people without the app
Search for a name and add them as a guest. You can share the finished breakdown with them yourself — for example as a PDF.
Requesting on Venmo
Add your Venmo username in Settings → Profile. When a friend has added theirs, a Request on Venmo button appears under their total in the results.
